Is a Bambu P2S Combo really worth twice as much as this?

I would take a K2 over it.

Man, this is tempting. I've got the CC1 and it's been wonderful. Would love to get into multicolor printing, but not a fan of the waste that comes from it.

Same. I would like one of these just for ABS/ASA printing in a single color.

$199 I'd jump in immediately.

My local microcenter hasn't restocked them so I don't think they're coming back. Would be nice for a closeout sale. They're great single filament machines with some mods.

Funny you say that, Costco has a Creality K2 Combo deal at the moment for $580. Not sure if it is considered a good deal but it is what they are currently selling.

Just be aware the K3 is coming very soon and will be priced at $699. It's going to be a 4-tool toolchanger instead of using a CFS (meaning it'll print multicolor much much faster).

And...with MUCH less (read; zero) waste.

I'm shooting for the Flashforge Creator 5, at a couple hundred bucks less. Good machines.

You can always buy the canvas for the CC1 [elegoo.com] at $55, however it is backordered with the web site saying an ETA end of September.

I have the CC1, CC2 and P1S (and more lol) and the CC2 has been flawless for me. I find myself using it more than my P1S unless I need more than the 4 colors the CC2 allows. On most prints, it prints faster than my P1S. I do usually have both running at the same time however.

I don't have the P2S so I can't comment if it is worth double the price, but I can say I don't think I'd pay more at all for the P1S over the CC2. In my experience Elegoo has provided better support when needed than Bambu. My biggest gripe is that they don't sell full hotend kits on their web site and if I want one I have to get it through their CS, however I did see people have been happy with 3rd party ones, but I have not personally tried it. At some point I'm going to fit my printers with a Microswiss just for ease of switching nozzles among printers.
