These battery run out of juice fast. I have 2 same thermometer: one with Costco Duracell battery and one with these. The Duracell last probably twice as long.

Yeah, these are kinda crap. People have tested these HW lithium batteries, and they only test at about 70%-80% of their claimed rating (common fraudulent ratings with cheap batteries). On top of that, these have a USB-C port and charging circuit that take up a significant amount of space in the battery, and their capacity is cut dramatically because of it. You're much better off getting some Eneloop or IKEA Ladda batteries (rebranded Eneloops) and a dedicated charger. Eneloop chargers are fine, and xtar makes good ones for cheap, as well. Xtar is a good brand of lithium AA in the few cases where lithium are a better option than Ni-MH. Most times, Ni-MH is the better choice. Some devices complain about the lower 1.2v of Ni-MH batteries, though and lithium is better. Examples: high drain devices like flashlights, motorized toys, some cameras, and some devices that show a low battery warning or cutoff prematurely at 1.2v.

I have not found ANY AAA 1.5v lithium with USB charging that breaks 400mAh. Most are ~350. Not enough room in the can for the electronics and the necessary chemistry. Just about nothing needs continuous 1.5v in AAA size, so this kind of product is more novelty than truly useful.

i've had the opposite experience, i got some lithium aa batteries a couple of years ago, tried them a bit, charged them up, left them in a box, pulled them out four months ago and put them in our automatic bathroom bin ... they worked too well, i think the excess amps caused the bin to open and close at the slightest stimulus, the lid would open and close for twenty minutes ... i didn't change them out because i assumed they wouldn't have the juice to do that for too long

... well, they went on for three months ... i haven't changed them out yet because nobody has asked me to.

Put 2 of these Li-ion AAA batteries in a Firestick remote. Remote is now dead. I assume1.5V of unstable power output from these batteries fried the remote internals. I would not use these in anything but high drain devices like flashlights. Never in devices that work just fine with NI-Mh batteries.
If I ever use them again!

Even if we were to assume that these are decent batteries, lithium batteries are only useful for high-draw devices

Low-draw devices, like remotes, will do better with NiMH rechargeables

I like rechargable lion AA batteries, my favorites are us based coast brand so I ordered 2 packs and both of the boxes had one dead cell in each. Amazon is replacing one of the packs (I'm putting both of the dead cells one return) so far I haven't been able to get them to show up in either my skyrc mc3000 or vapecell4splus to do a discharge. On charging they took 1400-1800 mw to charge so 1300mw is not out of bounds. Not sure how good these are.

The controller passes 4.7v through to the positive terminal while charging, so don't charge these in the item you have them installed in

Did you charge them in the remote? While I was charging these I checked the output and it was leaking 4.7v out of the positive terminal while charging
