My conclusion from those sources: it's not nothing but it's not much either. It requires red light to be shown intensely and evenly, and that is kind of annoying as a regular routine.
Generally, you may need 20 to 50 mw/cm2 at a distance of 6 to 18 inches for 8 to 15 minutes for general skin benefits. For deep tissue and joints, you need higher power. Remember, distance greatly reduces the power. This one at (actual) 130 mw/cm2 at about no farther than 18 inches or so or less is good strength for certain duration. The farther the distance, the less the strength goes down and significantly.
Edit: 7 lights one are better with different wavelength and penetration give more wholesome results for skin. You can ask AI to list what each light does. I would prefer the 7 lights in 1 units but likely they are a lot more expensive.
This for skin is fine. For muscle, I would get something that is place directly onto the skin.
