Technically, the window size will be 17.5 x 2 + some margin - roughly 36" sized window. 17.5 should be for one panel and there are 2 panels per window.

Good for 36" sized or shorter.

on all of my windows (more than 17.5") there is but a single sheet of cling not 2 or more side by side pieces

also, it hits this price often

My neighbor installed this privacy film on her windows couple weeks ago. Works great during day & you cant see in, but at night she walks around naked in living room. I dont think she knows they dont work at night when you have interior lights on 😁

There's no such thing as "one way" in optics.

You've never heard of a mirror? There are one way mirrors such as in your bathroom or your mirrors on your vehicle, and then there are 2 way mirrors such as used in interrogation rooms.

An ordinary mirror is 0-way: you can't see it through the mirror anyway.

Interrogation room mirrors are still 2-way: they can't see from one side to another only because the other side is too dark, while this side is too bright. If someone installs the mirror in reverse direction, it still works.
