How does this unit stack up with the costway units that are similarly priced

What makes a suspiciously cheap is the fact that it comes with 16 ft of line instead of just 10 ft like a lot of the super budget labels

Dang. I bought one of their lower end enduring series for $408 a month and a half back on sale. This is even better.

Install went fine for my unit. It felt light and cheap, but not overly so. Only slightly below par of my midea units on the rest of my house and blows cold AF. If you're looking for a cheap, WiFi enabled (via Tuya) unit, this is it.

Just bear in mind integrating it with Home Assistant requires the unit be set to Celcius via up+down being held for 5 seconds on the remote due to a bug in the Celcius to Fahrenheit conversion.

Is it quiet and do you have to use the app to control the eco / silent modes? I have some aux rebranded units (I'm not sure who makes these ones) and the silent mode can only be controlled from the app not the remote. And it's directly above my bed and louder than I want it to be ...but silent mode is okay.

There is a dedicated eco and quiet button on my unit's remote. It's fairly quiet, even on the highest fan speed, however. Other than the air movement "wooshing" sound, it's basically not something I notice.

This code works on the other visio series as well. I didn't try it on the other series but I did get 4 of these units, a 9000 BTU 110v, 2 12000 BTU 110v, and a 12000 BTU 220v and the coupon reduced the whole cart price. I think it's about a 24% savings from the sale prices. Came out much less than $400 per unit. I think the 9000 was a little cheaper but if I divide the total by 4 I get about $372 per unit. Also, I wasn't charged tax which makes this deal even better, of course YMMV on that I guess. Already have it, bought Sunday and even with Labor Day everything here Wednesday. I would say fast shipping. I hope these are good units and last a while but about the best price outside of taking a chance with Aliexpress or something and they include Wi-Fi.
