Look up Asics Novablast 5 or 6. I have these. The most comfortable moon and cloud shoes ive ever worn and it doesnt overheat your feet in hot weather.

Also check out the Adidas Adizero EVO line. Super comfortable, ergo engineered, and I've found last-gens as low as $45 to $60 + tax.

These are billed as 'casual' -- check the weight, contact points with the foot, and hinge and flex points, and-seams. My guess is they'll likely breakdown quickly under distance conditions, which is not good for the foot. From an OG distance runner to a runner on the come-up's dad: buy good shoes that are engineered for specific purpose needed. You don't want to jack-up your kid's feet.

I have a fully white pair of these; they're comfortable to wear but not to the level of walking around Disney. Get some Brooks. They are fine casually. I tried on a pair once before, and they squeaked, but the ones I own don't. I'd suggest trying them on first. I see someone mentioned the Adizeros evo, not a fan of the pair I own, brooks way more comfortable.
