Mine are tucked under a pair of Flexispot adjustable height work benches, 20" deep. Fit great under there!
I will say that I use them for electronics stuff. Building PCs and storing parts. Not in my shop.
I think I got these when they were on close out in store at least 3 years ago. They were $50 each.
Personally I think it would be just fine. I am pretty sure it would hold a couple hundred pounds.
