i bought the 4k dolby vision normal (not steelbook) version -- do we know if the bonus content + quality of the 4k video is the same?

I'm not very well versed in the Star Trek stuff. How does this movie fare compared to the others?

It's arguably the best Next Generation movie, and to me it is better than a couple of the latter original series movies.

The consensus is that it isn't arguably the best TNG era film, but by far the best. The movie was broadly liked as well. Not Star Trek Kelvin broad, but broadish.

It is my favorite movie from all the TNG and TOS movies

It's the best movie but be prepared, ignoring plotholes is kind of Star Trek's thing and it does heavily reference events in the TV show.

The images are the same as the 4k BR that came out in 2023.

Anyone know the differences?

And yes: It is the best TNG film. In fact, if you put the other 3 TNG films together it's still not as good as FC.

II/IV, VIII, VI, III, I, VII, IX, V, X. There is no debate.

I was listening to pandora "classic rock" this morning. Live - lighting crashes started playing. Definitely mid 90s. Ill never forget that my best friend made a cd for our spring break road trip back in 2002. He included ac/DC in the 80s section. We discussed that for the rest of the trip. Haha. I believe when it comes to music, 80s is a genre and not a decade. Haha.

I don't know for sure, but I do know they've been basically reusing the same bonus material since the DVD era. I think there have been a few new features since then, but they're minimal. I also just bought the 4K non-steelbook and even though this is a cool edition, I think I'm good.

I remember seeing the trailer for this movie and it used the (great) soundtrack from Undiscovered Country. Then the movie itself has this great Jerry Goldsmith opening theme song, which they later reused in the (not so great) Picard credits music. Anyway, great movie.
