85% polyester, 15% spandex means this "sports vest" (what?) won't breathe at all. Multiple reviews complain of poor quality and fit.

Here's one from just last week:

"If I could take stars away from this product I would!!! Absolutely horrible quality and fit!!! Irritatingly bad, like they really tried to sell this to someone... Do not buy, you will absolutely regret it."

Brand is good, they don't run short like other brands which is good you can bike or bend or at the gym and be good

I have a few of these also, knowing what to expect with a blend like these just know it isn't like cotton. Fit is fine for my frame and have easily held up in the wash.

You have no idea why polyester is the best choice for athletic wear. You can't wear cotton and do legit cardio because it soaks like a sponge and takes a long time to dry. The wet cotton material feels like sandpaper on your skin. This is a light weight polyester (not a thick old school basketball/football polyester jersey) because it is breathable, dries the sweat very quickly (moisture wicking), way more durable than cotton, won't ever shrink like cotton and other benefits. I wore some sleeveless cotton t-shirts in the gym because the graphics were awesome and it is a terrible feeling when it gets soaked with sweat. I have lots of cool looking cotton shirts but I rarely ever wear them in the gym because it is a terrible material for athletic wear. If you aren't moving around much, it is ok at times but if you are sweating, forget about it. I do have some 60/40% cotton/poly tanks which I prefer over 100% but they still soak up sweat with cardio. Have you ever wonder why pretty much all athletic wear is made from polyester? The popular under armour tanks are 100% poly and they are very breathable too. I got the recent Gradual poly tank and they feel nice.

Too many people that constantly rip moisture-wicking polyester don't understand why it is the preferred and best choice for active wear.

"Moisture-wicking is a textile property that pulls sweat away from your skin and moves it to the outside of the fabric so it can evaporate quickly.
