Is this really worth $200 or close to it? I want to start playing a guitar 🎸 not sure what's the difference between something of this price range vs. one that's $500.

It's probably worth seeing if you'll stick with it. But it might suffer from tuning issues. That can be frustrating. I'd check reviews.

I've played semi pro for 35 years and I'd say NO. This is a cheap guitar, not worth anywhere near $200, is only 3/4 sized, and is basically a toy. Buy a quality full sized instrument. These super cheap guitars are fine for maybe a 4 year old who is at the "bang and pound on everything" stage, but this guitar will never sound good, have trouble staying in tune, and will just lead to general frustration. I'd suggest spending some more money on something that will sound good and last. A good example would be a Yamaha F335- here's a link to it on sale:https://www.guitarcenter.com/Yama...1t-NhHYUDQ

This one is $189, which is a good price.
