You can call the number and tell them you want to cancel; let them know about the the $3 deal and if they say no, tell them you want to cancel anway - they'll put you on hold and should you be able to hook you up or keep you at your current rate.

I finally spoke with a human on the phone. She asked if I got the invite through the mail or email from Sirius. Upon mentioning I found the deal online and wanted to lock in the $3 a month deal, she said I was not qualified and offered me a $6 a month for 12 months plan. I declined.

Today, September 3, 2026, I called SiriusXM about this offer and was informed that it is only valid for 2018 and older vehicles. Despite my willingness to cancel my existing subscription, the retention specialist repeatedly refused to honor the promotion.

In June 2026. I subscribed to the Music & Entertainment package for $5.00 a month for one year because I was unable to secure another three‑year offer. After submitting a negative survey response, I received a call from SiriusXM requesting clarification. I explained that my rating reflected the company's unwillingness to provide a three‑year deal. In exchange for removing the negative review, I was offered the same plan for $2.99 per month for one year, which I gladly accepted.

The inconsistency between these two interactions raises serious concerns about the fairness and transparency of SiriusXM's promotional and retention practices. Customers should not have to resort to negative feedback or cancellation threats to receive reasonable offers, nor should promotions be selectively applied without clear and consistent criteria, especially given my long‑standing subscription history.

definitnely does not block the ads, been using brave for years - it can only block visual ads on websites and search engines (not video or audio)

Called the supposed vip line. Annoying AI offered terrible options. Rep wasn't helpful either. Best they'd ogger is 5.99 a month. Paying 4 a month now. Canceling and I'll see what they offer when service ends next week.

Great info, I had Sirius Xm a long time ago and I kinda miss it. I'd do it for that price. Ill probably give them a call

I also got the offer is not valid with a higher offer. I am chatting with an online representative. They said that....

I understand that, The $2.99 a month for 36 months deal is only available for older radios 2018 and below. Upon checking here the promotion is not available for 2025 XXXX here on our end.

The only offer they are offering me is $3.99 for one year. I can not get them to budge and offer me that $ 2.99-per-year offer.

Not sure what you mean by, "visual ads on websites", but if you got to the YT website in the browser, Brave blocks the adds. Plus, it keeps playing with the screen off.

I did the same deal in Dec of 23. It said older than 2018 but it worked for me on my 2023. Im going to try to extend it mine is up in December
