Unless you have a hundred weeds or something, it's gonna take you longer to get your propane tank out, connect the hose, etc. You could just bend down and yank the weeds out or use a spray directed at the weed itself. I use my torch to sear meat

Yeah I have hundreds of weeds and I'm trying not to use glyphosate.

Get some industrial vinegar (30%) from the hardware store. Look up the mixture with water and put in a pump sprayer. Spray all your weeds and within a day or two you'll see them all dried out and dying. Thats when I use the flame weeder. If you dont they will all come back very quickly.
