DoorDash [doordash.com] has Digital Video Games directly in their mobile app. To celebrate the launch, they are giving back free DoorDash gift cards when you buy games!

(September 1 – End of 2026):
  • DashPass Members: Spend $50 on games → Get a $15 DoorDash Gift Card
  • Regular Members: Spend $50 on games → Get a $5 DoorDash Gift Card
Instructions:
  • Open the App: Open the DoorDash Mobile App on your iPhone or Android device.
  • Find the Gaming Section: Look at the top navigation bar or the "Browse All" tab and tap the Gaming icon.
  • Pick Your Items: Add at least $50 worth of digital games, subscriptions, or gaming gift cards to your cart.
  • Checkout: Complete your purchase. Your digital game code will be sent to your email instantly.
  • Receive Your Gift Card: Your free $15 or $5DoorDash eGift Card will be automatically emailed to you within 24 hours of your purchase.
Limitations
  • Limit 1 Per Account: This promotion can only be claimed once per customer.
  • App Only: You must purchase through the mobile app. It does not work on the desktop website.
  • US Only: This feature is currently only available for customers in the United States.

lol the alert I got, then this description, then this title - all different. Lots of mixed messages. Is it over before it started? Is it $25/$10/$5?

$25 was the old promo pre-Sept. they prob copy/pasted it and didn't update

I bought it last week when it was $25 promo and it just says they will send the code in a few days.

But also when I bought it, there were parts of the app that said $25 and $15. I have no idea if it will even award.

I'm looking at the terms right now and it specifically states that you get either the $5 or $15 when you purchase a digital game for $50 or more. Keyword game not games so I don't think you can add multiple items to get to that $50 mark but games that are at $49.99 and up work.

Edit: Gift cards and in game currency aren't eligible either OP so you might want to remove that.

On my side, I didn't see the "free gift card" tag that others saw during the last version of the sale, but I do see it this time, and even on $49.99 games like star fox.

I do notice that splatoon raiders has now been added, though I'm not seeing the "free gift card" tag on it yet. Last time, the terms were similar in saying $50 minimum and people still getting the gift card on Star Fox. It's still only a chance for splatoon raiders at $49.99 but precedent shows it might be okay.

I also noticed they fixed the flipped yoshi cover photos from last time.

A bit inconsistent. StarFox at $49.99 shows the $15 gift card on the product page, but splatoon raiders at $49.99 does not.

I did the $25 deal with star fox and got both game instantly and card within 2 days. I am interested in doing the $15 deal but am holding out to see if more games are added.

I've gotten mine.

I purchased one game on 8-20 and got the gift card on 8-28
I purchased a second game on 8-28 and got the gift card on 9-1

Mine says "purchase a digital game for $50 or more," so it has to be a single $50+ game rather than "spend $50 on games". I think spending $50 on a single digital game isn't worth it when physical Nintendo cartridges cost the exact same amount but actually hold high resale value.

Actually Nintendo changed their pricing earlier this year such that digital games are $10 less then physical.
