I bought one of these on the last sale. I've been wearing it for about a week now. For less than 30 bucks, this is well worth it. If you need reliable readings, I would go with Garmin. The sleep monitor especially is suspect on this. Battery life is good and the app is pretty easy to use. You might be wondering how much of your data will be stolen, the answer is all of it, just like with all the other apps.

Beside using this kind of watch to tell time, and the rest of its features are unreliable, should I have one?

Can you tell me more about what you mean by the last sentence? Which app does this one use? I've looked at other apps for these types of watches and iOS App Store didn't mark it as taking certain info that you see on other apps, it just had a warning about maybe using battery powder when it's not even open which is just a blanket warning that doesn't mean much… and which readings do you actually think it's useful for? I think most of them are pretty inaccurate except for maybe step count, heart rate, which are still gonna be far more inaccurate than a really good smart watch… But maybe for kids OK… How long do you think these cheap watches may last before they totally crap out?
… And I hope that everyone knows that those regular prices are totally ridiculous. because for a little bit more than those prices you could get a really good watch
