Recently got these for $108 refurbished/like new from a past slickdeal at Walmart.

I got these at Staples for $169 to use as a low-end hearing aid in noisy places. First the left ear bud wouldn't stay in my left ear (the other tips were of no help) but the noise cancellation and ambient modes were the most disappointing - I expected some filtering out/quieting of background noise with amplification of voices in front of me but none of that worked and the mode kept switching randomly as the algorithm deemed fit. Luckily Staples took them back with no problem.

I love mine. NC and transparency great. But this deal nothing special. Better than MSRP of course.

I got my pro 2 open box like-new after the 2024 holiday season. Holiday season is a safe bet for cheap Pro 3s coming up but hoping I don't have to wait that long.

I gave my Pro 2's to my wife and bought the Pro 3's when they had dropped to $189. I returned them 3 days later because they didn't sound as good and fit as well as the last generation. The other issue and it's a consistent well known problem, is they won't immediately disconnect from your iPhone when you put them back in the case and close the lid. This happened on two brand new sets. I found a new unopened set of AirPods Pro 2 locally and paid $80 after some back and forth. There's a reason Apple is rushing the Pro 4's out to rid themselves of this generation.

I bought and returned two sets of Pro 3's because I thought there was something wrong with them compared to my Pro 2's. The gen 3 AirPod Pros are the equivalent to Windows ME.

There was a $169 deal at Walmart on here in June. And trust me these are crazy good, good bass, insane noise cancellation, etc etc. but of course you need to have an iPhone.

Thanks for the info. My pro 2 still work no issues but maybe don't hold a charge as well as they used to. No need to rush! I'll prob wait for pro 4 open box then
