I don't think I've ever seen a remote thermometer with 4 probes. This seems like it would be great for multiple cuts on the same cooker.

I have an older version from this brand with 2 probes. One of the probes is not working.

I've never seen a brand more on sale than this brand in the last few months. Seems like they've had a batch gone wrong or something

Biggest warning sign to me is that literally every single review is "Incentivized". So the reviews are effectively worthless.

I've owned the ThermoPro wired two probe version and while it was okay at monitoring temperatures, I found having to route the wires outside to the base unit a bit cumbersome. And since all probes must be used in close proximity to the base, I can't imagine a situation where I'd need to monitor four different items being cooked at the same time in the same oven, bbq or smoker.

Instead, I'd recommend going with a thermometer that has wireless probes. My favorite is ThermoMaven. The 4 probe unit is rarely on sale but one probe and two probe units are frequently on sale at Amazon for $25-$50 depending upon the number of probes and connectivity options (wireless, bluetooth/phone app and/or Sub-1G). I personally like the Sub-1G connectivity because it provides reliable monitoring connectivity to my bbq and smoker that are located on the opposite side of my house from my kitchen. And no matter where I'm using them, I don't have to deal with routing probe wires.

Nonsense, I regularly use 3 or 4 probes on my smoker. As for the wireless probes the quality is just not there yet to justify the price.

I think because they're rebranded to TempPro, they want to offload a lot of older stuff branded as Thermopro, and also hook buyers who were previously loyal to Thermopro on their new stuff. Just a thought.

Kudos to you for having a busy smoker and finding a way to deal with the wires.

As for wireless probe quality, I've been using my ThermoMaven wireless probes for the past two years...got my first one shortly after ThermoMaven introduced them in 2024 and liked it so much, I went back for more. I currently have a couple of G1's and an X2...use them in the smoker, bbq and kitchen oven. They have been easy to use, accurate and reliable. So much so, I've given several to family members and...so far.. they've had the same satisfying results.
