Amazon resale "like new" probably means beat to hell and stick drift issues. And at $90 there is a good chance they will fight you for your refund.
I have had CS agents lie to me and say I bought something 3rd party even though the seller clearly says "Amazon Resale" just to get out of issuing a refuns for broken crap.
It's no exaggeration to say these days you will have better luck on ebay than Amazon resale.
Got my controller from the last deal in the mail yesterday. 'Like New' from Amazon Warehouse. Box had been opened but everything else was perfect. If it's broken, just return it.
I did a lot of research on an upgraded Xbox controller and I went with a 'like new" version of this during the last posted sale. This has been the best controller I have used for FPS. Might pick up a second one as a spare.
I highly caution people against amazon used tech items, including nearly nee condition items. Amazon ha no quality control and I have about an 80% rate of something being wrong with the device, or parts are missing. And 100% on controllers. I've bought 4 of them, including this one.

What do you mean CS agents? Just return it. I've had zero issues with returns on amazon.
If I do used, I only do like new and it is usually 'like new' but like others said, crapshoot.
On this controller however, the controller is very small in hands. My hand would cramp after minimal usage. Probably the way I held it to not hit the triggers on the back. I returned it. Not sure why they made it so small.

Order a device over $100 from Amazon resale and try to return it. Tell me how it goes.
The automated default response is telling you to keep it and offering you a 15% refund. If you want to send it back for a full refund you better claim its broken (even then the system may try to block your return). This is in direct contradiction to Amazon's claims but it has become SOP
