I own 2 of these speakers which I bought a year ago for $9.99 each. For this price point, they have a pretty balanced sound with decent, but not overpowering bass. Good midtones. High tones are little bit weak -- it's definitely more for pop/dance music at a party/picnic than high fidelity jazz. I would totally buy another one. I have not tested it for being waterproof.

I was ready to buy until I saw the max Bluetooth operating range of 8 ft. I move my phone around too much to be tied that close to a wireless speaker. 🤷

Im curious how it compares with the $20 Xiaomi Sound Packet Mi rated for only 5w. Because 20w is alot of power for such a small speaker. Even the $35 Anker Sound Cores are only rated 12w.

I can tell you it's louder and the overall sound profile (bass and mid tones) is significantly better than these:

A 10W BT speaker I've listened to side by side: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F998HYS5
A "15W" BT speaker, also placed side by side, but was really weaker (I want to say it was 10W or less on the bottom of the speaker): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DQX1ZKS3
