Typical promoted chinese amazon junk, half of what makes up SD in today's age. You can find a weighted cast iron one for +/- a few dollars, no reason to believe this is a good deal

I honestly have no idea why anyone needs this. Is it really that difficult to make burger patties with your hands? When did that become an advanced skill?

Look up what a smash burger is and how it's made and then try to do multiples with your hands. Not worth the extra effort that a heavy bottomed cast iron press could save you.

No one's struggling to make burger patties. Smash burgers are a specific style of cooking burger patties. Making a ball and smashing it onto the griddle produces crispy edges.
