Not designed to be painted — the product listing specifically states "No painting needed," as the color is molded throughout the material and won't fade or peel
Technically paintable, but requires extra steps:
Sand the surface first for better adhesion
Use a plastic-specific primer
Use plastic-compatible paint (Rust-Oleum or Krylon make options designed for plastic)
Standard house paint will not adhere well to the plastic surface
Other owners who've painted theirs say it can be done, but the prep work is key to making it last....
