Good deal if you can find it . Normally Sam's club shows instore clearance pricing if available on the app. I just switched stores about 20 locations. Not available in my area or surrounding.
I'm happy with my Sony OLED and got it because I preferred the picture to the Samsungs I saw, but this is a hell of a deal if you are lucky enough to find one. I might have bit on this price since these are lovely TVs and it's a LOT less than I paid for my Bravia 8. Highly YMMV, of course, but good find.
This is a steal if you can find it at this price. I had a hell of a time getting this deal down to 800 last time it was posted. It's been a great TV so far.
They had them at 2 of the 3 stores where I am. Between the 2 stores they had 10 of them at $499. At least I think that second store was $599. it did not SAY $499, but the s90f was showing an outdated price, so I assume the s85 was also.
I got the s90f instead for $799. But was very tempted to choose this one instead. Only thing is the s85f has a gen 2 processor and the s90f has a gen 3 one. And samsung is already below sony and lg in processing so hated to not get the best processor.
But just think of having a 65 inch qd oled for $499! That is crazy. My first oled, which I still have, a curved rgb oeld samsung was $8k-9k in stores when it came out. (got mine as a refurbished).
