I'm not a beer guy and don't know how much weight these accolades carry but but FWIW, this beer apparently won silver at the World Beer Cup and gold at the Great American Beer Festival. Additionally and unfortunately, this beer will no longer be sold in the future and Industry experts expect supplies to only last through late summer to early fall so enjoy it while you can.

if costco can price their beers right like around $18 for a 24 pack i'm sure people would buy. it nooo they price it with heineken and ipa beer prices. well guess which one im picking?

It should have been more competitively priced but I'm betting they couldn't get the price down due to overall costs. If you want cheaper beer go for Sapporo or Rainier but those are pisspoor.

Most "better" beers are closer to $1.50-2/beer price range. For my consumption levels, the more expensive beers are tastier and higher ABV (ie worth it) to me. To each their own.
