Apparently it doesn't use a QD-OLED panel, and uses the LG WOLED. Last year's S90F is better.
Mostly this. The s90h line are all WOLED. The s95h line has the qd-oled. Both technologies have their pros and cons, so s90f being better is an opinion (even if I agree, I bought an s90f earlier this year)
Note, not all qd-oled are the same and not all WOLED are the same; there are generations of each.
Also note that Samsung Display (panel maker) and Samsung electronics (tv maker) are different entities, which operate independently. It's my understanding LG has much greater capacity of OLEDs than Samsung Display does.

this is NOT completely true. Yes the 65inch and 55inch are woled but the 77inch s90h uses LG's Tandem OLED which is fantastic. Highly recommend the tandem oled, it's fantastic

the LG's "Tandem OLED" is still an WOLED. But good detail, the 77, and I believe the 48s are RGB tandem WOLED, which is a step up from the non-tandem WOLEDs, and probably better than non-tandem QD-OLED, even for folks who favor QD-OLED.

Tizen OS is trash. Don't expect good things from the "Smart" part of this TV.
I can say I prefer the old layout better on my 2021 Samsung but the operating system of my S90F is more snappy. A tip I read is to disable Samsung Tv Plus.
I was at best buy to check this TV along with C6 and Bravia 7 II. S90H has a matte finish screen while C6 and 7 ii have glossy screen. Because of the matte finish on S90H, the colors looked very flat as compared to C6 and Bravia 7 II. S90H is good if your room has lot of light reflection. I was getting a deal through samsung EPP for 11179 total but after seeing it in person I am opting for lg or sony.

I ended up buying this one even though comments mentioned better panels those are hard to find and I wanted the matte instead of glossy panel to handle reflections in a bright room. Still satisfied with the quality and brightness.
