Nah, let this get down to $400 or $350 and then maybe I might consider upgrading from my MSI MAG 275UPD E14 27" 4K IPS Gaming Monitor.

Having spend the past several years with a 4k 48" OLED, what I really want is an 8k 55" OLED 120hz with displayport. I think these gaming monitors are fine and all, but they're pretty darned small. I despise how the market is segmented.

I just want at least a 32 inch OLED for productivity/web surfing. I haven't really seen many in this price range.

I currently have an LG 34" 21:9 Curved UltraWide QHD (3440 x 1440) SKU: 34WP60C-B.AUS which I got for 200, but I feel the OLED screens look soooo much better

It's for gaming and entertainment, not productivity/web surfing. Otherwise you will get burn in.

If you really want OLED for productivity, you will have to wait a couple more years until the tech advances and burn in no longer becomes a risk.

Certainly some truth. However, if you watch the long running tests, you'll also find that ignoring OLED burn in, over the same period massive amounts of LED failures on LCD based monitors. So, real stuff, my stuff. My Dell U2410 is as old as dirt, that is, cathode lit and has zero issues. It's 1920x1200 at a fixed 60Hz (because what on earth is VRR?). Sure, a new monitor will "look better", but... will it last as long. The main reason I haven't upgraded, is why? I'm happy, it works and still people that see compliment the IPS panels quality, brightness and massive viewing angles. Again, it's not perfect, but compared to what I'm seeing in the 10-15 year range where it's on at least 14 hours a day, I'd say it's a rock. OLED wise I own a 2nd gen 55" LG OLED. While 2nd gen might sound "newish", remember, that's 1080p folks (because what on earth is 4K?). That TV is also on 14-16 hours every single day since purchase 10+ years ago. And it looks as good today as it did then. Sure WebOS 2.0 isn't supported, but we use Roku, so, who cares. Everything on the TV works still. Everything. And because it's the "right size" and "right resolution", SD content look fantastic on the unit making some of my friends swear they're watching HD. How much longer will either last? Don't know. But unlike rtings long term tests across TV types, mine look very very "top of the line" in comparison. The TV is used as a TV and it's not watching "new channel" 24x7. Would think modern OLEDs which go black when you're not directly "there" and use shifting and other techniques, maybe the burn-in factor isn't huge (??). If I ever get one, since you know it has to last "forever" when I buy something, I'll let you know (realizing that dead people don't tend to use monitors though... so there a limit to my testing).

I've been using my Msi qd oled for 2 years 8-12 hours a day M-F for work and I have no burn in. I really think the burn in concern is a little overblown. Spreadsheets, email, web apps. I hide the taskbar and use dark mode, but besides that I just use it like a normal monitor.

I wouldn't. There are plenty of 4K 240Hz OLED. This isn't all that special of a price considering it's a tier below those devices that you can get for a similar price open-box

No. OLED text reproduction is not great, and I certainly wouldn't bother spending a penny on OLED if it's not primarily for gaming. And this is from a household with multiple OLED displays in it (Sim rig, TV, secondary display for gaming)

2007 would like their concerns back. OLED monitors have been fine from a burn in standpoint for close to a decade.
