I've been learning that these ticket 'offers' are just ads and scams. Resident evil has a promo now too. With offers like this, $5 off means nothing when they charge you a $5 booking fee for using fandango to buy the ticket.

If you have theater rewards like AMC and go on Tues/Wed a ticket can come out to close to free, depending on location

How does this work if there's a fandango promo code and they seem to force you into using their 3rd party service, then charge a fee for using their service? That's where I'm confused. What's the point of getting promo codes if they just charge fees anyway. At that point just go direct to the theater.

Link the movie chain account on fandango. Enter promo code on the button that says Gift card/promo code. Bam. $5 off and all fees removed
