Also seconding that while PNY will give you generally functioning stuff, I've seen a lot of comments about failure a few months in - more than usual, so also avoiding personally

For use cases like dash cams, it's better to buy a very reputable card geared for endurance like Samsung Pro Endurance or Sandisk High Endurance. Don't want to lose a critical clip when it could save you hundreds or even thousands if an accident happens.

Fair point. I was thinking more general storage/handheld use for a dash cam I'd spend the extra on an endurance card too.

I used different brand of MicroSD cards before. Only the PNY's card gets corrupted after using it for a while, cannot even reformat to continue its usage.
