Not a bad price per bar, but these are 7 g fat and 5 g protein. These are fat bars, lol.

Plus a general rule to remember is that fat is triple the calories per gram as protein, so most protein bars are really just fat bars. Ironically the original Quest bars are one of the few protein bars with more protein than fat content.

So store bought (non protein) cookies don't have a lot of calories?

Not to mention, most of the ingredients you are counting are..... ingredients to the ingredients (or possible contents not an itemized list). When many brands don't break things down to that granular level. But it sure does look scary when you find out that chocolate chips don't naturally grow on trees

As a general rule, Quest products are intended for athletes and are usually high protein, low carb, low fat.

I was just warning anyone thinking these are like a typical Quest protein bar.

So do I have to have an athlete card to buy them? Did they hire you to gatekeep? I thought they were for anybody who wanted to add protein and have a snack simultaneously? Like pretty much any human with an active lifestyle or who's been told they needed more protein in their diet?

Frankly, I think you just made my day. I've now graduated to an Olympic level athlete and all I had to do was eat a frosted chocolate cookie.

Fat is double* the calories as protein. Fat=9 calCarb=4 calProtein=4 cal
