I wondered about the battery and it's use with this sander, and here is what I found…
Most woodworkers say it's the absolute sweet spot in size and power/
Easily 30 to 40 minutes of non-stop sanding per charge. Plus, at 1.4 lbs, it adds just enough weight to help press the sander down naturally without making it feel clunky or awkward to steer.
