I bought one of these 5-6 years ago to do a lower control arm and since then its earned me a couple of 6 packs lending it to buddies that needed one asap.

And if you were a mechanic by trade you'd know a sledgehammer to the spindle is better at breaking the tapered joints free in most cases

I'm pretty sure I don't need this. My balls don't have joints. And, even if they did, I wouldn't want to separate them.

Same price at home depot looks like amazon price matched./... this is great for normal drivers like me who refuse to drive anything other than real normal cars = SEDANS!

Once you get older them joints are going to start acting up and like yard dogs....you'll want to keep them separated.

Dont need one now, but would be kicking myself if I had to pay $30 for it. Thanks OP!

A lot of times, this will destroy the boot, so be careful. If your replacing it, it doesn't really matter.
