I've had a rove, but just the front camera, for a few years and I've found that it's pretty quality device

I buy this product 2 years ago ..for 18 months..it works good ..after that it's stop recording..screen is black ..I tried customer support..they it's not repair ..suggest to buy new one .i spend 110 dollars..all gone ..don't buy this product..

I've owned 3 roves and they are great but die due to heat and sun between 2-3 years in my experience (California sun). Not sure how long other brands last for comparison.

are they removable when you're not using the car for a prolonged period of time? say more than 12 hours?

from the video, i see its detachable by sliding.
i have the other one REDTIGER F4 Pro, its also easily detachable via sliding. i do when parking at airports etc..

Rove i heard it is good brand. especially this model amazon selling 10K last 1 month, this is huge.

This is a 50-60 dashcam. Not 100+. The rear cam quality might as well be from 2011. Front cam records jittery picture and nowhere near 4K resolution.

For your hard earned money, Vantrue, Garmin, and even those cheap Redtigers are more worth it than this

Owned 3 of the front facing ones. In our heat they detach from the windshield from time to time and if the mount on the camera cracks or breaks. There's not much you can do. Good camera, bad mounting system imo. Still using em and hoping they hold up.

I have 03 of them (front facing camera only), the longest being 05 years. They all still work completely fine. I do however take them down if I'm parked for a long period of time in the sun to prevent the possibility of overheating.

I am in the market for a couple of dash cams. never owned anything decent in the past, just a $5 front camera from walmart. Would this be a good camera for front and back and can it survive the texas heat? Retrieving recordings via wifi, is that easy enough and is there enough wire to hide them (front and back)?
