I've been printing for a little over 10 years not once have bad filament and it didn't matter the brand. I usually buy what's on sale and take my chances on brands that nobody has heard of. Geetah, Sunlu, and Joyo are few that took a chance on when they first entered the market. Kingroon has been another and no issue with this filament. If I have an issue with a print it's usually user error or didn't setup the printer properly. If I had a complaint it would be with the RED filament, which isn't red, but more orange. No issue with their PLA or the PETG. 90%of my prints are with PETG.

I am getting ready to get my first printer. How do you dry your filament?
I have a dryer, but in the past I placed mine on top of my computer because my AIO exhaust from the top and plus heat rises.

Or maybe $52 for 10kg of PLA is a great deal ... and you can get it for $42 after CB if you use a CB site, which is a stupendous deal.
Day one of this sale cb was 26%. I hope filament that I bought during that day don't get cancelled.

What is a cb site?
Cаshback sites. We're not allowed to link to any or mention by name, as SlickDeals would lose out on referral attribution if you go through another site to make the purchase. Which is frustrating, as SD is thus gatekeeping deals that could save people money but would make SD lose out on money.

Uhh I hate these listings
I always end up getting the wrong thing
I tried to get the PETG bundle the other day for $60 but somehow I managed to screw up and I ended up getting this bundle a few days ago and it came out to like $63.50
I wanted the petg that had the clear filament
Be careful when ordering
I am very cat but I have been tripping up by these AliExpress multiple listings for t filament and other things so many times before I wish they would not allow this to be also confusing

You're right that it's a conflict with the mission of saving SDers the most money, but if all traffic is hijacked by other sites SD closes and those sites will continue luring shoppers with cb so they're OK paying full price.

Can't speak for the PLA, but I bought a 10k pack of PETG and it's worked great.
I agree, I've gone through a case of PETG, works great! I have another case unopened. Didn't have any issues right out of the packaging, but I do live in a dry area.

Yep. Assorted PETG from the same company was on the frontage yesterday. https://slickdeals.net/f/19895511

Any reviews?
No issues with actual printing, but the colors are kind of washed out on certain shades. Like the orange is like a straw color imo. Blue was fine. If you are doing black, white or gray, probably not an issue. But don't expect this stuff to match other brands' shades.

You usually won't need to when printing PLA. If you leave hydroscopic filaments like TPU out for a while prints may become stringy or have zits from hot steam escaping during extrusion, this will also weaken prints. I use a $15 food dehydrator to dry mine. Similar to this but mine was cheaper https://a.co/d/08eCrqoV

I find CB rarely works on aliexpress. Even if it registers properly, it sits pending for months before ultimately being declared ineligible or reduced to pennies on the dollar

I find it best to just assume CB doesn't exist.

This is Sunlu filament, for those unaware. Kingroon is Sunlu's budget sub-brand for market segmentation. It's the same filament as they sell under their own brand but with cheaper spools. It's also possible they sell "factory seconds" under this brand (color variance, etc) but that's just conjecture. I've never noticed a difference.
