I have a set of CB-5's but people seem to like this series a lot? It looks like they at least kept the aluminum dome tweeter. If I could get a set of cf-70's at $225-250 I couldn't even build something like that myself at that price (and I do build them).

Edit: Also anyone know what the driver cone material is? My CB-5's are aluminum drivers/tweeter I think.

This is a great deal for Canadian made, bi-ampable speakers. Under $200 for the pair with free freight!? I'm not in the market for some floor speakers right now but I'm considering buying these for a backup.

5.5" woofers? They better be VERY long excursion or you won't be getting any bass out of these. I wouldn't buy them if they were 6.5".
