This is still expensive for a 70 pound city bike with no name mechanical disc brakes.

This seems like a pretty crazy deal unless I'm missing something. The specs for the price are crazy. Sure, it's heavy and has mechanical brakes instead of hydraulic, but I haven't found better specs at this price point. Any bike with 960Wh batteries is going to be heavy.

Main thing is that it seems this model in particular was released back in Spring 2023. But hey it's got a gates belt drive.

Reading more into it, reviews about the company's customer service are not good, so that'd be a pretty big concern if you have issues with the bike.

Frankly, I haven't noticed anything that would make it a better purchase than recently posted Ebycco V7 for ~$700

I have had this bike for a couple of years - had it delivered and assembled at a local shop, so I at least know I can get it serviced.

It is indeed heavy AF, but otherwise I've enjoyed having the extended range with the 2 batteries (though I don't think you should expect 90 miles), and the ease of maintenance with the belt drive.

The brakes have been a little finicky (especially, the front for some reason) and you will feel every little bump you hit.

Had to buy a removable cross bar to use a bike rack (which I didn't consider before I got the bike).
