The Visa card typically comes within 2-4 weeks of your rebate approval which typically takes under 5 business days from submission.
You're finding way too many reasons to negate the rebate in your write up and that's a dis-service. You also have not calcualated in the cost to belong to Costco whcih is $65 a year and also the fact that not everyone belongs there either.
It is a blowout deal when you use a net final price of $51.95 after the $25 rebate but since you haven't, my feeling is, no one should use that info to make a decision, even if they are a costco member.
PS - and who/what the heck is CLAUDE? AI is a scourge....

if that still doesn't work, you can apply $25 to a grocery shopping order at a self checkout. even if your total is more than $25. it will pull $25 off the card lowering your net total. Choose credit (bypass the pin thing)
or if you pay bills online like a cell phone bill, just stick $25 on to your balance payment. Lots of useful ways to make these as good as cash on everyday expenses.
