This is a 5.1 speaker package and not hard to drive.
Better off going RC package+good entry level sub + slightly older used AVR imo.

I've been looking at sound bars and audio solutions for it like the Hisense Saturn or Samsung HW-Q990 sound bar, sub and rears. I'm working with a 2K budget or thereabouts, I was wondering if anybody could advise me if something like this might be a better option, I'm not a audiophile but I'm looking to get the best I can within my budget to fill my room with decent sound. My room size is 15'x26'.
I've visited my local Best Buy a couple times and have gotten conflicting advice. Wired vs. wireless is not a major concern, I can make either work, so hoping that somebody who's used something like this can give me an opinion.
Speaker quality plays a significantly bigger role in sound quality than a receiver imo.
So the majority of a $1800 budget should be spent on speakers not receiver imo.
You should only pay for features you need not in case you do, that wasted money imo.
An example from personal experience.
Swap out and place the RZ30 in this package, good luck hearing any real difference.
The RZ30 has all main features as the RZ70 and has been down to $700!
In general a traditional speaker setup is better sound quality wise.
Comes with a caveat though.
Proper setup & calibration/integration is crucial for optimal advantage especially when you include a sub(s).
A soundbar mainly relies on technology which has advanced quite a bit.
Other thing to consider here is content.
Soundbars are mainly designed for streaming content.
It lacks the quality of physical media when it comes to audio by a significant margin.
A traditional set up does not fix this.
As you can see, there are trade-offs, which is best will vary from person to person.
The RZ70 actually outperforms its published specs along with some great Sinad performance to boot
I guess, IMO, there is a point to be made about selling the speakers and therefore lowering your overall cost
OR...buy this deal with a speaker upgrade path in mind
But keeping these speakers with this AVR seems a waste to me
These speakers would be fine with that $300 ( Open box ) Denon that was mentioned in a thread
