Love this monitor. Basically two 4k monitors side-by-side.

Be warned though, it's practically a space heater. Great in the winter, not so much in the summer.

No USB-C on this monitor at all, just DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1, so it can't charge your MacBook Air over any cable. You'd need a separate charger for that.

Also when connecting to the Mac mini with one cable won't get you the full 7680x2160 at 240Hz. I believe you'll have to run two cables into it and use Picture-by-Picture mode to get two 4K feeds side by side instead.

I am sitting in front of mine here in August and feel zero heat coming off of it unless i put my hand 1/4" from the screen. Now, If you turn on HDR in Windows for whatever reason, it does get hot. If you turn off HDR in Windows it acts like any other monitor. Not sure why that is. But I turned it off over a year ago and it's perfectly cool.

Beautiful monitor, except if using for work on a Mac! The fonts don't play well with this one ( at least for me, which is why I downgraded to a 49" )

Apple fixed this recently! You can now get HiDPI font resolutions between 3840x1080 and 7160x2160.

did not see how much depth it takes with the V legs in specs, pictures look like it is non trivial desk size required in that depth direction.

My M2 Mac Studio is connected via one cable, running 7680x2160 @ 120hz. This doesn't contradict what you're saying (240hz), but I wanted to mention it as a point of reference.

(I'm also fairly certain the M1 does not support 7680x2160 with one cable, it's why I got the M2; and I also know that the base M3/M4/etc. chips have different video output capabilities than the Pro/Max/Ultra lines. So I'd suggest OP do research on his specific model. Like, my guess is that even if the M4 Pro Mac Mini might be able to handle this setup, the base M4 might not be able to? But I can't say for sure)
