I bought this from Costco on clearance for $50 and it still was not worth it. Sound quality was poor, tinny and hollow. I prefer more of a JBL, Bose or UE Boom soundstage if you want to compare your sound preference to mine.

Paid $40 for one some time ago. Sounds good, but the build quality is far below JBL or UE products

So I have 2 of these if you are using them at the pool and gets them splashed every time you use them great. You should not get them if you looking for great audio. If you want great audio get something else but these are great if you throw a pool party often and don't want to damage your nice speaker.

They have the Soundcore Boom v2 on Woot for $70. I'm not sure if these are the Boom 2 or the Boom V2. If you're looking to pair 2 in TWS, you can only do that with a pair of Boom 2's or a pair of Boom V2's. You can't pair in TWS with a Boom 2 and a Boom V2. I can confirm that the Boom V2 from Woot will pair in TWS with the Costco Boom V2.

If you are torn between this and the Boom i3 please note that the Boom i3 is a mono speaker, whereas this is a 2.1 stereo. May make a difference depending on your purpose.

I initially thought so too, but then when you use the equalizer to fine tune to the way you like, it sounds great. I got one at $40 at Costco and I regret not getting another one because I didn't think to fine tune with an equalizer until I read it somewhere. After I did that and wanted a 2nd, it was sold out at Costco. Ended up getting it at Woot for $70 but with 25% cashback so about $53.

I don't think any BT speaker from JBL or Bose at $50 would even come close to comparing to this. Sure, the ones about the same size will sound better but they are much more expensive.

Don't listen to this guy. The boom 2 is much more balanced than Xtreme 3, lighter and more convenient with the handle, at fraction of the cost.
