Decent but the 5060 ain't much to write home about as it only has 8 GB of VRAM. also no Ryzen CPU either so it's not exactly a Gaming desktop
LOL so a you have to have a Ryzen and more than 8gb for it to be a Gaming Desktop?

You can't be serious this is a great deal for people who do casual gaming. It beats the Steam Machine any day and that one is made for Gaming. So please don't say its not a Gaming Desktop because it doesn't have the specs you would like to have but probably will never get for $999.99....

Not convinced a game will run better on a Ryzen vs Intel at this spec, not sure the CPU is going to be the bottle neck here.

Meh cpu, very meh gpu, 32gb ram is the biggest winner here. Decent for 1080p gaming at sometimes high settings depending how much vram the game eats. DLSS is going to hard carry this setup, but thats fine as long as the lag it introduces is manageable.

I would never recommend this pc to anybody, but it can work just fine for the casual crowd.

"Extreme" is a generous description.

At least it has 32GB of ram.

Lets be honest this is a failing unit from the get go regardless of brand.

edit

for anybody considering this and can come up with another $270, go with this and never look back https://slickdeals.net/f/19863618-acer-nitro-60-desktop-cert-refurb-i7-14700f-rtx-5070-32gb-ddr5-1tb-ssd-850w-psu-win11h-1270-f-s?src=frontpage&v=1. Im sure there are other deals floating around with a 7800x3d and maybe a 9070 if you are lucky for around this price range, but Im sure as hell not going to look for anything beyond 3 scrolls.

Check CyberPowerPC reviews. I would not purchase another CyberPowerPC again. I purchased directly from from CyberPower. The build quality was not great missing extra fans ordered and poor wiring. It eventually died at 1 year exactly. Customer service was horrible and offered no help.

The beautiful thing about Costco is they will take it back if it's crap.
