Plano edge is absolute garbage in comparison and
yes I do have many Plano edge to compare.as that is what I started with.
This is still more than I have paid for any of my 3600 and I don't believe I ever paid as much as $13 for 3700 either. Not sure if the cheaper prices will come again though so probably good time to buy it needed.
It can help to have a tiny box that holds your used lures until you can wash (for saltwater particularly) and dry them after trip.
There is almost never a time time a good waterproof box is not worth it if it's not outrageously priced.
Even if you care nothing at all for waterproofing, the latch and more tight lid are worth it.
The Plano edge latch warps and the latching is done backwards to intelligent operations. These KK are easy to open and close one handed, with less likelihood to have lure movement and lid stays flat unlike Plano which warp as cheaper unsealed boxes do leading to movement between cells and possibly loosing small things like hooks out the box.
