This is currently relevant as it just got a 4k 60fps upgrade on PS5 and XBox series X. Added Dualsense haptics as well. This one is the good Ghost Recon game, not Breakpoint. Cool storyline, open world, and coop play. Put alot of hours in this when it was released and will probably pick it up again. There is also a free trial on PS5 today through the 10th.

FWIW, I think Breakpoint was actually better mechanically (gameplay wise) but they did make it a confusing mess with all of their daily nonsense, layers of different interfaces, upgrades, buying gear, branching mission system*, etc. I probably had 60+ hours in the game and I am not sure I still understand 50% of it.

*I actually 'beat' the game halfway through playing not realizing I was completing the final story mission way earlier than intended. Each group of mission sets were stories within a larger narrative arc so it wasn't a big deal just odd when I killed a ho-hum boss and suddenly I'm in some end game cinematic. The first game's story arc was also a mess because you just seem to be going after random 'capos' but it made more sense. Never ended up killing all the bosses since it seems like an endless list.

I think either game is well worth the money when purchased on sale. Wildlands gets big props for being able to play offline.

Also available on Steam for $2.50. Not sure why that's not included in the deal post under "PC Options ".

I think so, I played a lot when first released in 2017 and with the current sale and the 4k 60fps update for consoles, now would be a great time to try. PlayStation has free trial through the 10th. Not sure about trial on other platforms.

They just made the entire UI so confusing. It feels like several of the pages of missions / gear / upgrades were just slapped on after the fact* through updates or DLC but didn't wan to integrate the new stuff in the existing interface.....LeTs jUsT AdD A HaLf dOzEn mOrE TaBs

*FWIW, I picked up the game years after release so this might be exactly what happened

I had great fun with the base game, DLC is really not necessary here until you get to the end of the main campaign. Bought DLC the rare times they went on sale just because.
