These were 169 a month or two ago, if I recall correctly. 190 with AppleCare would be a great deal, but I think this is only decent at this price.

Love how these have been on deep discount for the last 2-3 months and no one wants to believe Apple has a new model coming. A lot of people also want to dismiss these new "Ultra Airpods" because they have built in cameras to track movement as a useless feature, which i agree with. But it's highly rumored audio quality and connectivity will be drastically improved with the introduction of a new H chip rather than using a 3.5-4 year old chip for their newest Airpods Pro 3. If 9to5 Mac and MacRumors and TheVerge are all reporting the same thing that's not a coincidence. I would only buy these if you absolutely need a new pair today

But people may not want camera in their AirPods constantly showing everything to AI that these rumored "Ultras" will have. And if they are calling them ultra they will have an ultra high price too.

Not sure why you're getting downvoted. I saw that deal and got them for $169 from Walmart on June 15. This price is okay but it'll drop again.

Read an article. These arent cameras that take pictures like your cell phone camera. They are positional trackers. Like I said, if you dont need Airpods today wait for the new model. Worst case you save another $50 on the Airpods Pro 3.

Sorry I just switched to this echo system, would you recommend these or the AirPod pro max 2? I need the most comfy version but with good anc since at my gym the music is very loud, I read that this AirPods have better anc but because they are tighter hence less comfy than the previous version, I also don't like the AirPods max since they fall too often while I'm lifting weights

I have both and the ANC is out of this world on either, but I actually think it's better on the Pro Max 2. That said, I would never step into a gym with the Pro Max. They do not mix well with sweat unfortunately, and they're a bit heavy anyways. For the gym and going outdoors in general I would recommend the AirPods Pro III and leave the Pro Max's at your desk. But man, they (the Max's) sound so much better for music.

*Edit: I would definitely recommend going into Settings, Accessibility, Audio & visual - Headphone Accommodations on your phone and allow your phone to detect what you're hearing and adjust the audio output. It makes a good difference in how they sound.
