Is the first Whopper free? Or do you have to order a Whopper, then use your receipt number to get a code for a free Whopper in the future? (So BOGO but with 2 visits?)
Considering they have the ability to do this all through the app it seems needlessly complicated.
You'll also get carpet bombed with SPAM texts after BK sells your cell phone number to marketing companies.

This program was originally meant for when a Burger King location messes up your order, or you are unsatisfied with your burger, to remake it and give you a QR code to get a free Whopper on a future visit within 14 days.
Supposedly, there is a promotion where Burger King released a text to claim code so that anyone can use this to get a free whopper with no prior purchase required. I'm not sure if Burger King actually meant for this to go out to the general public, but it's all over social media. https://www.instagram.c
