Love this fan, it has a 120v extension cord connection right where the battery goes as well if you wanted to run it from a battery backup or a generator. I have the old 2017 version the 511b and it's been flawless.

No, the 511 was multi-speed and dual-power (battery or extension cord). The 512 is variable-speed and higher maximum CFM, but battery-only.
