The combo blower trimmer is still available for $230. I don't know if it went OOS recently but I feel like I was looking for that combo recently and couldn't find it. I just looked now and it's in stock at Costco

I'm wondering if the trimmer that comes with this is exactly the same 17inch trimmer that comes with the combo deal

Honestly, Acme tools has the 82v trimmer for the same price and it comes with TWO 2.5ah batteries. There are downsides if you wanted to have just 80v batteries to use on multiple products since 82V/80V are not compatible with each other. BUT the 82V is a much higher end unit. Meant for landscaping companies. Better build quality. Meant to last longer. Because of that is a screaming deal. Those two 2.5ah batteries come with the charger that charges both of them at the same time. You'd have to have a massive property to drain both batteries in a single use. Like acres and you'd be string trimming for like 2+hrs straight. 😂

Last I looked, that price was in store only, and most of the stores went out of stock. It was still available online, for a good bit more though.


Edit: apparently the combo is back available online again for the $230 price.

Different trimmers. If you want o look at the details on the Greenworks site, the trimmer in the combo looks like 2140202, and the stand-alone one is 2142602.Combo one looks to be lighter, stand-alone has the "pro" label.
