i used to order this all the time as it used to be consistently smooth. one of the recent bags i received was bitter and not smooth at all and as a result i no longer consider these safe beans. these beans are not what they used to be. might be good with milk, but on its own it does not taste as it used to.

I got these beans when were discounted last time. I like my espresso black without cream nor sugar. These beans did lack flavor and were bitter. I'd not recommend them to anyone.

Same, it was my go to Lavazza for years until 2024, started getting bitter, sometimes even stale tasting. Went to super crema, Rossa, and Crema e Gusto and order from Italy Best Coffee because sometime in 2020 during covid every bag I got from Amazon was months old and it was cheaper getting it from Italy Best

Agreed. I'm new to making espresso at home, but not new to drinking it. The only beans I tried so far were Pikes Place. I know it's not a typical "espresso" roast, but it actually tastes good, in my opinion. I am almost out of it so I just opened this kind and the Crema E Aroma from Lavazza this morning. I don't like either of them. I brewed all three that I had and did a taste test. I Especially don't like the Crema E Aroma kind. Maybe I just don't like Robusta flavor.

I feel like this is just about what Costco always sells their bags of whole beans for. I used to jump on these deals all the time, but lately they've been mid.

Mt. Comfort Coffee 2.5lbs is $17 and is a very crowd-pleasing medium-light roast. They have a 2lb single origin medium roast this size for $1 more.

For some reasons Amazon blacklists my account. I am not getting any coupon discounts lately

Edit: I could see the 30% coupon the first time I went to the product page but it disappeared once I clicked on subscribe & save.
