I believe this deal is just like the deal for the Moto Pad 2026.
You have to be an existing customer of Metro by T-Mobile.

You can add a new tablet plan ($20 minimum monthly fee) and get the Galaxy Tab A11+ for $49.99.

I did the Moto 2026 Pad deal with Metro by Mobile earlier this year. I wa \s able to cancel the plan by calling customer service before getting billed for a 2nd month.

Would it be possible to add a such tablet line and cancel/let expire 1 month later without affecting the main line? Just for the sake of discussion.

That is for the Moto Pad 2026.

This post is for the Galaxy Tab A11 5G. The tab has major differences including long-term updates/support.

Is it worth it flipping the A9+ 5G which I got from a similar deal back in the day and is now unlocked to get this locked tablet? Assuming it will be locked for a year, though I dont use it for cellular anyway

Actually , looking back the A9+ was $20 (free with $20 plan)

This was back when I think unlock was 60 days. My first boot was with a T-Mobile sim and now everytime I boot I get the T-Mobile flash screen. It did not unlock , and I threw it in a drawer and forgot about it for close to a year. Took it out and network unlock from settings worked.

Is that something you can do online through your account? Or only with customer service? Or at the metro store? Trying to help a friend get a better tablet with metro

Anyone has A11+ to test with T-Mobile sim?
The A9+ can take T-Mobile sim. Hopefully the A11+ too.
