Neat idea and thanks for the info, but who just drinks 12 oz of coffee and waits for this to charge back up?

It says it makes 2-3 cups per charge. And FWIW, a lot of people probably. My wife (unlike me) drinks a single cup of coffee per day, so in theory someone like her would only need to charge this roughly twice per week. I could see something like this being a godsend for someone who works out of their car. All you need is ground coffee and water for nearly instant brewed coffee.

Edit: I standard corrected, this only makes 4 oz per brew.

Oh crap. You are right. My bad. You are correct, this appears damn near useless.

This is a dumb pos to own and waste of money, if u camping, wood is everywhere around u to use and have a nice bon fire, u can cook and brew coffee while u at it, with just a pot and pan. If u a true camper u wouldn't waste on junk like this

I make copy coffee with filled coffee filters. Boil water and steep the pods like a tea bag. It's really easy and delicious. Rather effective at keeping grounds out too. For an easier method while backpacking just use instant. Ultra light and decent enough Can be made with room temp water too. So very effective backpacking strategy

I recently started often drinking 32oz of coffee so this would be a lot of waiting 😂

Expensive for what it is. I use David canteburry "pathfinder French Press Pantry" at the self reliance outfitters site. It costs $10 more than this but will last forever, high quality steel, and with the included 5 8oz containers I store 2 containers of coffee, creamer, sugar and the parts of the French press within the coffee pot. Itself. Handles fold in on itself into a small form factor. Pair this with a tiny gas camp stove and you can make enough pots of coffee for a family for as long as 16oz of ground coffee will last you.

BougeRV is a company that comes off as desperately wanting to appear high-end, while selling cheap junk at inflated prices. I'm not surprised that SD is shilling for them.

In for one.... This is perfect for me at work as I don't have access to hot coffee.
