It is roughly 175' from my house to our garden. It saves time if I can shut off the hose at the end and switch sprinkler heads instead of walking back and forth to shut the water off and turn it on. Now my use case may be different from others, but this definitely has a use.

this is the exact reason I need this.. I dont know how many times I wanted to swap from the wand to using my power washer but then had to walk all the way to basement to turn it off before hooking up...
