The botanical line are some of the worst building experiences I've had. They are beautiful but terribly unpleasant builds.

Eek, that's good to know! Obviously, I want to end up with something beautiful, but if it's a pain to build, there's no fun in that.

It is also hard to display, especially for loose sets like this where you need a vase. Too small and it looks too bunched up, too wide and it is all over the place. Too short and you need to lift it up with something, too tall and its hanging off the top.

Unlike real flowers you cant cut the stems (make sense but you don't think about it), and the pictures you see only look good in one angle, but in real life / 3 dimensions I guarantee it looks bare from another angle. Some flowers also dont stay up the way the picture show it does and gravity drags the heavier side down


And if you got kids good luck keeping them from getting destroyed in a few months.
