Beware refurbs from Creality Refurbished on eBay. I'm currently untangling the return for a busted K2 + that was packed in an abused old box and little survived the rigors of shipping.

I second this. About half of my printer came with issues that required technical support and extra parts from the reseller after delivery.

Agree. K2 Refurb came with 1 of the 4 CFS bays not working. It was a fairly easy fix, but refurb usually implies that it doesn't require repairs when you receive it.

I'm not sure about this one. I have a K1 max bought from this eBay store. It's been good but I was worried about getting a bad one. I did adjust my bed level. It wasn't bad from the factory but I could make it better so I did.

The big issue I have is this vs the various Flashforge deals. The basic 5M is typically cheaper and I found it to be a great printer. I only upgraded because I wanted to larger bed. For the same price as this you can get the FF AD5X multi material printer.

Both of those FF models are open frame and I'm not sure if they have as many deals on the 5M Pro which is the closer equivalent to this printer. Since my printer is in the living space of my house I don't print the more advanced materials that require an enclosure. So I would probably just save the money or I would get the multi material unit for the same price.

This isn't a bad printer if you need the enclosure and the size is right. However, the refurb Creality risk bothers me. I got the K1max because it was the right combination of print size and cost at the time. I don't see this as the right option unless you really need low cost, engineering grade material and relatively small parts.

To add to the chorus, although I didn't get a k1c refurb, I did previously buy a creality ender 3 v3 se from their official eBay refurb and it came looking like it wasn't even wiped down with lots of debris, fingerprints all over the touch screen and it wasn't even factory reset and the first print dug the nozzle into the build plate causing a deep groove scratch. To be fair they did offer (and did) send me a replacement build plate but still pretty lame and who knows if it did any laying damage to the nozzle and such.

I'm still glad I bought it because it worked well enough for me to confirm it was a hobby I'd definitely be into as well as made me realize I immediately wanted to "upgrade." Now I have 5 printers and the ender gets next to zero use.

Ditto, got a K1 about 3 months ago. Just thrown in the box, barely any protective packaging, missing tools, screws were thrown in loose in the box. The door handle was so badly damaged it was unusable. Looks like printer was thrown in box with handle on and it got ripped off. Side panels have what look like smudges, tried to clean but they won't come off so not sure what they are. The front door was not mounted properly, it would swing closed on it's own and hit the screen but I was able to fix that. By the condition I was very surprised printer worked at all.
